Johnny Jones - Hello, I'm Johnny Jones (2019)

The song "Johnny and June" is a song about Johnny Cash and June Carter Cash. The song was pitched to me by Greg McDougal who is one of the writers. I fell in love with the song and since Johnny has always been a favorite I just had to cut it. It debuted on Cashbox Chart after being released to radio less than three weeks.

"If We Never Meet Again" is a favorite that I enjoy performing. "The Grandma Song" is a true story about my grandma tanning my bottom with the Bible. I was so young when it happened, I don't believe I remember anything about it but the story was passed down to me from family members. It's an unusual but funny story.

"In Your Arms" is a personal song about an illness I've been in a battle with for several years. All the doctors say there is no medical cure, so this gave me the inspiration to write this song.

I think a lot of people will relate to "The Wrong Kind of Water". I also included a Christmas song, "The Reason For It All". "I'd Rather Have Jesus" is one of my favorites to sing that I thought everyone would love. "The Japanese Kidnapped My Son" is a light hearted song that I wrote about my son Casey, many years ago and people enjoy this one.
