Bartosz Kołsut - Bach To Penderecki (2019)

Bach to Penderecki is the debut solo album of the young artist Bartosz Kołsut. The titled accordionist presents a wide range of color possibilities of this instrument, showing amazing flexibility and fully expressing his musical personality in this extremely diverse repertoire - from baroque to contemporary, containing both transcriptions and pieces originally composed for the accordion. The album begins with the famous "Italian Concert" by Jan Sebastian Bach, and ends with the outstanding work of Krzysztof Penderecki "Sinfonietta". The excellent works of Magnus Lindberg and Anatoly Kusyakov were also recorded. It is worth listening to Bartosz Kołsut's vision, letting him move beyond sound and beyond sound.
