«Le nuage dans le ciel rayonne dans l’éclat doré du soleil. Il brille et se colore de rouge dans sa clarté lumineuse.» Le texte d'un motet de Hasse se lit comme la description d’un nuage de Tiepolo, le plus grand peintre du XVIIIe siècle. L'Ensemble Diderot et la mezzo-soprano Diana Haller proposent avec cet album des « paysages sonores » pour accompagner l'exposition de la Staatsgalerie Stuttgart qui marque le 250ème anniversaire de la mort du maître vénitien.
