After years of talking about music, but always putting it on the backburner, Oklahoma Singer-Songwriter Kenny Pitts knew something had to give. During a random encounter, Kenny met up with producer Zac Maloy (The Nixons) at the Oklahoma Songwriters Festival, and months later, he came out with “Solo”. This five-song debut EP takes its title because that is how Kenny handled the experience. He was tired of talking about it, sick of wishing about it, but mostly he was fueled by a great desire to immerse himself in music. Kenny didn’t tell anyone close to him and he went to Nashville with nothing but his songs on his side and he recorded his EP. Kenny’s initial idea was to go in and record songs to pitch, sell, and work the songwriting scene, but after getting the final project back, Kenny was fueled to release this as his own EP. The Singer-Songwriter Country Rock feel of “Solo” gave rise to Kenny Pitts and The Raging Peacemakers who can be seen playing gigs all over the world.
