I captured all the feelings about being away from the places I knew, no parents around, no friends, just me and my family starting this new chapter of our lives. Homeland has a sort of bitter feel but the songs themselves aren’t sad; just the overall vibe is there, missing the places, different people and lifestyle i knew so well’
