In 2005, Columbia combined Average White Band's 1979 and 1980 studio albums in one package. The earlier recording, Feel No Fret, was significantly more popular than the latter, Shine, though neither is among the group's best work. Average White Band self-produced Feel No Fret with Gene Paul, and Arif Mardin's absence was, perhaps, a hindrance. Originally released on Arista (in the U.S.) and RCA (in the U.K.), Shine involved David Foster, who helped AWB score their second biggest U.K. hit, the number 12 "Let's Go Round Again." There are five bonus tracks here, including the 12" version of that particular song.~Andy Kellman
