The Christines - Living At The Bottom Of The Sea (1996)

We started out in 1992. Before INTERNET. We drew flyers with our own hands and made copies and taped them to telephone poles all around town. We made a few albums and got some airplay. Opened for some cool bands (Oasis, Semisonic, Low). Moved to San Francisco in the late ‘90s, gave it up in 2001, released a posthumous third album in 2008 of stuff from our S.F. period. Had a few lineup changes over the years but now the core, the original four, are back together, plus one who joined the S.F. lineup (but he’s a Denver guy, so he’s ok). We finally got inspired to do something again. So here we are, in 2019, 27 years after we started out. We just recorded five new songs - three are from ‘92-’95 we had never recorded (two we never even played live), one we wrote in 2008, and one new one. They’ll be fully cooked soon.
