Abi Wallenstein & Feelgoodboogie - Live on the Beach (2012/2018)

At FeelGoodBoogie, the blues' friend may think of Chicago or Memphis. In fact, behind this project title, which is programmatic for the performance of their concerts, hides three high-caliber Blues: Abi Wallenstein, Günther Brackmann and Martin Röttger.

Abi, Günther and Martin play since 2004 in this cast together. These rather irregular appearances have matured the interplay of these three personalities over the years, each bringing its own individual quality and yet always dedicated to the trio as a 'groove community'.
Abi, as a master of the atmosphere, prepares the spaces that Martin opens up with a sure-footed drumming and his sensitive feel for dynamics. Abi and Günther fill this tension of the spaces with their solos, in the course of which the entire improvisational experience of the trio becomes audible. These processes of interaction can not be rehearsed or reproduced. They are the result of the special moment, characterized by the mood of the audience, the atmosphere of the room as well as the dedication and passion of the musicians.
The result is unique interpretations of original Bluestitel, which extend in a pleasant way the stylistic devices of the genre and the blues thus return its relevance. Abi Wallenstein plays a special role here as someone who feels the energies on stage as well as those of the audience and brings them together in his inimitable way.

Her performances are part of a special kind of improvisational concert that uses well-known titles as the basis of her own joy in playing and thus creates special moments - for the musicians as well as for the listener.
