A lustfully celebrated hommage to the jazz-rock, fusion and funky stuff played in the 70s and 80s - even the synths with their typical filter sweeps, the howling B3 and the hopping bass lines are cited here with a topping of clicking, funky and always tasteful guitar work by Robben Ford and incredibly versatile sax lines by Bill Evans. It never sounds like the supergroup it is, stays laid back and is enjoyable even for listeners, who usually not enjoy this genre. After Steve Gadd/Chick Corea's "Chines Butterfly" this is more blues oriented retro-sounding gem - highly recommended and rocks as hell
