Tilford Sellers - Switchyard South Sessions (2019)

Tilford Sellers began recording “Another Day With You” in November of 2017. The record was only partially completed when Tilford was killed in a car accident on January 27th, 2018. He was 35 years old and had just been named a Nominee for the 2018 Ameripolitan Awards for Best Honky – Tonk Male.

On the day before the wreck, he recorded vocals – just one take for each song. In the weeks and months that followed, Tilford’s bandmates rallied to finish the record, spending countless hours and carefully curating parts using his guitar, pedal board, and amplifier. They also followed the handwritten notes he left behind to guide the arrangements and instrument selection. You will hear Tilford playing acoustic guitar on all the tracks and if you listen closely, you might be able to hear the pearl snap buttons of his sleeve occasionally hitting the guitar.

This record is dedicated to Patrick and his family, close friends, and devoted fans. They hope you enjoy listening to this record and ask that you share his story.
