Interesting, but, unfortunately, little-known British band from the 60's. The Attack is first and foremost vocalist Richard Shirman During his lifetime, the band did not record any full-fledged record - only 4 singles. The sound of the band for those times was pretty strong, it's pretty psychedelic, but at the same time it gives away a huge American garage. Many believe that this is why their first single "Try It" fell through the British charts. Shirman's voice is very strong (by the way, after the collapse of The Attack, he was called Andromeda, but he refused) and in places quite unusual. The band sounds very bold and advanced. It is a pity that they are not particularly lucky. This disc included officially released 4 singles with b-sides, as well as things left behind. The selection presented on this CD is not exhaustive. There are also not bad (at least ships on tracksheets) discs "Abot Time" and "Final Daze".
After the collapse of The Attack, Shirman did not show himself anywhere else.
