Jordi Berni Trio + Santi de la Rubia - Afinke (2005)

"Afinke" is the result of two studio sessions, although almost all the takes selected in the CD were recorded the first day. The take of "Afinke" was only played once in the studio. Perhaps this subject is the one most played "live" by the group and it seems to us a good sign to give a title to our first disc. I have to say that I consider myself very fortunate to have the opportunity to compose my songs, rehearse with the group, play in concerts and finally record this CD. The latter is perhaps the most satisfying, as suddenly, the project which one has been working on during some years, begins to take shape. The fact of the recorded music of the group allows to leave constancy of the music which is being played at this time of life and in this way it makes it easy for one to follow the evolution and to improve the sound.
