Drummer Sean Noonan and his group Brewed by Noon present this wildly ambitious and idiosyncratic concept album blending passionate vocals and time-honoured lyrics from Ireland, Mali and Senegal with the raw power of jamming jazz-rock guitars, shapeshifting improv viola, dense soundscapes, bass and drum grooves and complex, dancing polyrhythms.
