A year after the release of Lucid Dreams DayKoda announces his new album, All Of Me, coming out on Beat Machine Records on 11th July 2019.
The last effort of the 23-year-old producer and musician originally from Brescia and now based in Milan represents a journey through the life of DayKoda, an intimate and personal story where each track of "All Of Me" represents a photograph in which the artistic image of DayKoda is reflected differently, proposing various shades and versions of his music. Many tracks, many DayKoda with different features, peculiarities, facets, attitudes, the result of the mixture of his background and the countless inputs that life in the XXI can offer to a musician and student of the conservatory whose soul is divided between electronic machines and soul vibrations.
The portrait painted in All Of Me is that of an Andrea Gamba who is certainly more impetuous, determined and dedicated to experimentation ("Orange" and "Transitions" are manifestos in this sense), but who is also soul and sentimental, as close as to the new world of Jazz made in the UK and the one of beats and hip hop (although still there, fresh and carefree, in tracks such as Woman, written with Denver based beatmaker Muta).
Tracks like Transitions, Death By The Sea, Cold Space, Fresh Start, and Life Goes On - starring the sax of musician Filippo Casati - fluctuate inexorably on the invisible fil rouge that connects Milan to London in this sense, giving us an album that represents a huge step forward from Lucid Dreams, and that discovers margins for growth, those of DayKoda, really without limits.
Last but not least, as a quality mark on an incredible release, there will be also a classy, smooth remix signed by 22a and Five Easy Pieces member and Peckham soul artist Reginald Omas Mamode IV.
