Her debut is marvelous & has been followed by many other compact discs since it’s release in 1984. She was awarded the MBE in 1998 for her services to jazz & it’s well-honored. If you love jazz music, Carol Kidd is truly a wonderful jazz vocalist & singer who sings a song with passion, love, & enthusiasm. On this debut compact disc, there are only 13 songs but each 1 is different from the other. I know when I listen to Carol Kidd, I’m listening to 1st class jazz music with a vocalist who expresses a calm, relaxing sound. I could listen to her sing anything.
