Ole Amund Gjersvik is a freelance bassplayer and composer.
He released his first solo CD "A Voice From The Past" in 1990. Since then, he has released a lot of jazz albums's in his own name. His latest CD release is "All Together Now" released in 2014, but he has released a lot of digital albums since then.
He has also composed and arranged music for other groups and artists. Gjersvik has released two tango cd's as leader of Combo Tango and he has released a lot of duo and trio releases with musicians like Marius Neset,Tore Thorsen, Carsten Dyngeland and Stein Urheim etc. Gjersvik has also arranged 12 songs (including one original) on Britt-Synnøve Johansen release "Skyt meg med tre roser"/"Balame Con Tres Rosas". Ole Amund Gjersvik has participated on more than 100 cd's with other artists.
Most of the time, Ole Amund Gjersvik works as a freelance bass player with different musicians in all kind of genres!
