Anton Langebæk Quintet - The Chant! (2019)

Bassist Anton Langebæk is a busy young musician who plays both in and abroad in a variety of bands and projects across the music scene. With this group he emerges as chaplain for a super group consisting of 5 of the strongest young voices on the Danish jazz scene, each of which marks these years. The music is inspired by everything from Thelonius Monk and Duke Ellington, to African music and more modern jazz. With the release "The Chant!" this spring, this orchestra enters the stage with its crisp sound and grand swinging music showing the chapel master and the group's enormous versatility! It will be a hit of an end to the H9's outdoor festival program that you will not miss!
