Denny is a melting pot of everything he has ever heard! His earliest interests in the guitar were sparked by the likes of Elvis, and Carl Perkins.
Acoustic blues influences include Robert Johnson, Lightnin' Hopkins, and Honeyboy Edwards.
Later, Eric Clapton, and John Mayall directed him to the Chicago sounds of Muddy Waters, Freddie King and Buddy Guy along with some personal tutelage from Luther Allison.
More recent influences include Django Reinhardt, Frank Vignola and Angelo DeBarre and fingerstlye favorites include Don Ross, Alex DeGrassi and Tommy Emmanuel.
He is also an author and music educator.
