Philippine Duchateau - Offstage Life (2019)

Since pianist Philippine Duchateau and saxophonist Peter Natterer got to know each other by mere coincidence in the summer of 2002 at Berklee College in Boston, the collaboration between the two forms a creative constant in their musical cosmos, no matter where in the world and in which musical genre they otherwise with their diverse Projects are on the way.

In 2018, not least due to numerous successful joint concerts - from jazz quartet to choral projects to spirited jam sessions with Roma musicians in Transylvania - mature artists Duchateau and Natterer decided to work in a duo, the most direct form of musical communication: euphoric with this idea and even before the ink of their new compositions had dried, they went into the studio to record two albums, the first of which was released under the title "December Nightflight".

Now the catchy tunes, which pictures of Norwegian fjords and the Parisian Seine in the autumnal evening sun conjure like the reverberation of rushing fiestas in the streets of Havana or the charming madness of a turbulent children's weekend at home in Austria, only one thing: Out of the digital world , off the stage and re-dancing to the heart and into real life: Offstage Life!
