Zachari Smith is an innovative songwriter, musician and producer based in Montreal, Quebec. After 10 years as a professional musician, performing across Canada and Europe, Zachari founded Acre Alley Label and Management company with a passion to support and develop songwriters and musical artists.
While playing over 300 concerts as one half of the folk duo, 'Andrew and Zachari Smith,' Zachari has also toured regularly as a drummer, slide guitarist and vocalist with The Mighty River, The Geese, Joshua Hyslop and Ce Qui Nous Traverse.
After a five year hiatus of his solo career, Zachari Smith has returned to the stage, offering his own edge to generations of folk family sensibilities. Highlighted with dobro licks and fingerstyle acoustic guitar, his songs stretch the boundaries of contemporary folk music, mixing styles and weaving stories into an unforgettable performance.
