Veronika Jackson is an expression of the authenticity of acoustic folk blues. Intrinsically, she carries forth the African American musical traditions that goes back to rhythm and blues, gospel and soul, which is her heritage. Her music was influenced by singing artist such as Sarah Vaughn, Nancy Wilson, Rosetta Tharpe, Mahalia Jackson, Joan Baez. and Odetta.
