Violin and guitar, two instruments with popular roots, have inspired many great composers who were seduced by music and rhythms of dances that belong to various traditional cultures. “La Danza” is an invitation to a trip across the world that includes master pieces like Manuel de Falla’s Siete Canciones Populares Españolas, Astor Piazzolla’s Histoire du Tango, Béla Bartok’s Romanian Folksongs and the famous Tarantella composed by Gioachino Rossini as well as arrangements of well-known popular music works of Romania.
