Andrea Keller - Transients, Vol. 1 (2019)

Andrea Keller created Transients as a series of trios inspired by late mentor Allan Browne s musical philosophy. Dedicated to a collective approach to music making, the trios stem from a jazz tradition, which they interpret with an uninhibited, and sometimes unconventional, Australian accent. Each version of Transients brings with it a unique repertoire and dynamism, focussing on presenting original compositions and repertoire from the Australian jazz tradition. Since the launch of Transients in January 2016, Keller s trios have transformed and expanded to include an extensive pool of creative Melbourne musicians both emerging and established. Over the years the trios have performed at many of Melbourne s jazz clubs
