The songs of the Greedy Pig band from Tornio “Alma Bar” were played in Rockradio in the 1980s. Later, the band was invited to Southern Finland, where Edu Kettunen started to compose songs for it. After a few singles in 1989, a blues-inspired first-ever album, Rye Rye Man, was released. Songs such as' Ain't no substitute 'and' Drinkin 'bad water' made the band a name in the R&B and rock circles.

In 1992 Greedy Pig's second album Junk food was released. At the same time, the band played in Scandinavia. In addition, it played as Dr. Feelgood warmer and British orchestra of British Pirates guitarist Mick Green.

Between 1999 and 2000, Greedy Pig once again collaborated with Mick Green and The Drills. The Mick Green band toured the famous songs of Pirates, but the planned studio recordings were missed because of a busy schedule.

After the Mick Green tour, the band has played occasionally.
