The Legend - The Legend (Reissue) (1969/2008)

The history of the team begins in El Paso (Texas), where in 1965 Jack Duncan and Barry Davis played in the group “The Pawns” (Pawns). In 1967, at the suggestion of Gerry Jimerfield, they became part of The Lords Of London and moved to the Denver area (Colorado). The group then temporarily moves to Los Angeles, where it changes its name to Jimerfield Legend, and returns to Colorado during the summer of love. In 1968, they again moved to Los Angeles, reducing their name to “The Legend”, and signed a contract with the local label “Megaphone”, releasing three forty-fives and a full-length LP of the same name. They performed mostly psychedelic covers of modern hits (Bob Dylan, “The Troggs”, “The Who”), but they also had their own songs.
