Aude Ray - Be my Home (2017)

Originally from Quebec, Aude Ray has been singing since she was a teenager. Her music brought her to BC fifteen years ago, where she flourished as a singer songwriter. The Montreal Culture and passion for life comes out in her energetic personality, style and lyrics while her melodies bring freshness from the coastal ocean, mountains of British Columbia.

Be my Home was written in the last 2 year, (except "La boite aux lettres" 2003,), in both official languages ​​of Canada. Hear undertones of Jazz, R&B, mixed with Indie Folk influences.

The title of the album, from the song "Be my Home", represents the self-esteem, to be confortable in our skin. It also means to take responsibility for the way we live, where we live, the choices we make, our values. There are eight songs on the album recorded in Pemberton, British Columbia. The general themes are dreams, nature, love and humanity. All the songs tell a little about how Aude Ray lives her life and what she believes in. She even wrote about the processus of writting itself and how she can sometimes hear the songs in the wind, or in her own stillness.
