VA - Texas Guitar Summit (2010)

A compilation of music by six relatively unknown Dallas-based blues guitarist singers. Recorded in 1997, the current CD was released in 2010 and includes bonus tracks omitted from the initial release. The total time of the 15-track CD is 69+ minutes. The main appeal of the CD is the chance to hear six guitarist / singers that you probably have not otherwise heard. Indeed, most of these artists were only known locally in the DFW area and toiled for years there in the bars and clubs. But do not let the relative obscurity of the artists deter you from checking out this CD; the quality of the performances is pretty good.
