The Groove Orient is a fast-rising, high-intensity music group that cannot be quantified within the confines of just one genre. Sharpened and polished within the growing Orlando music scene, this six member group forms a singular unit, bonded by creative passion and a relentless pursuit of musical excellence. Each member of the band brings his own unique background, providing a diverse—yet balanced—sound. Within this balance is an attacking mindset, as TGO strives to invigorate its audience, no matter the venue.
As a regional act, TGO has had the opportunity to perform in numerous cities and venues, providing them with meaningful cultural feedback and continuous growth and development. Named the best experimental act in Orlando by Orlando Weekly, TGO has performed at the House of Blues, Earthday Birthday, the Florida Citrus Bowl and the Florida Music Festival. With the release of their debut EP Welcome to the Show, TGO has been featured in Relix Magazine’s 40th Anniversary issue, further solidifying their status as a rising power in the music scene. With their sights set on rapid expansion, TGO plans to continue traveling unmarked territory across the U.S., with the plan of bringing their act to the masses.
