Insect Trust - Hoboken Saturday Night (Reissue) (1970/2004)

In 1970, The Insect Trust made their second album, Hoboken Saturday Night, for Atco, which continued the experimental line of its predecessor. The album was approved by the venerable critic Robert Christgau, however, its commercial potential was extremely small. At the beginning of 1971, having finally cooled to work together and having lost hope of achieving success, the Insect Trust fell apart. Luke Faust in 1975 became a member of the new version of the “Holy Modal Rounders”; Robert Palmer has become a very respectable rock journalist ("the dean of American rock critics"); Nancy Jeffries occasionally sang in the studios, however, her main career for the next two decades passed on the other side of the mixing console: she got a job as a secretary in the RCA office, and then made a career in show business, becoming the first woman to seek talent. Unfortunately, Trevor Koehler, who was unable to cope with life's problems, broke up with the music and, after a series of unsuccessful attempts to find himself in other fields of activity, committed suicide in the late 1970s.
