Nite People - P.M. (Reissue) (1970)

Organized in the mid-60s in Southampton, the Nite People group relied on progressive rock with a heavy guitar and organ sound, performing mainly cover versions. In 1966 a contract was signed with a small label Fontana. The most successful turned out to be the forty-five released in 1968 with the song Morning Sun of the Spencer Davis Group, although there was no question of getting into the charts. In 1969, Nite People signed on to Larry Page's label and released three singles and a limited edition of 500 copies of the album PM, which included besides covers (Peaches en Regalia Frank Zappa, Delilah Tom Jones and Reach Out I'll Be There from Four Tops), present and own work. However, these releases did not bring them either fame or money, and in 1970 the group ceased to exist.
