Matthieu Bore - Gumbo Kings (2019)

French pianist, jazz vocalist, songwriter, latest work of Matthieu Boré. He grew up surrounded by music and art under the grandfather of the opera singer and received the first piano lesson at the age of seven. Then woke up to vintage jazz in the 1990s, and in early 2000 he began playing the piano at the Parisian jazz club. In 2001 he released an album covering all songs by Fats Domino, and has released nearly ten albums to date. This album has an atmosphere of vintage jazz vocals where the scent of the 1950s drifts. 12 songs inspired by the 1970's New Orleans singer are recorded, including all songs original, including Fatz Domino which is also the roots of Matthieu Boré's music. It is an album full of New Orleans taste of a good old days.
