The Teens were formed in 1976 in the Charlensee - a picturesque part of West Berlin, like a school rock band.
What these bright Berlin teenagers have done in a matter of months, many musicians need years and years of grueling work.
The Teens confidently replaced the former favorite of the then youth, the Bay City Rollers, and until then (and for another quarter of a century since!) There has never been such a German band of underage musicians that has made such a furore in their homeland and has become instantly known and loved by millions!
In 15 years after the collapse in 1996, "The Teens" are trying to return (without Mobius). Tom Bopp (Western Union, Petticoat) took over the bass. On the keys - the same newcomer - Chris Wirsching (Western Union, Petticoat, Flashback). In the CD "Past and Present '76 -'96" except for the old hits, there were five new tracks (two of which, modern versions of the early face-to-face hits).
