The title of this album owes its origin to a recording session. It all took place in Studio A when the McGuire sisters got ready to record some of their favourite numbers. All the songs were standards, and each one woke an immediate response from the girls, each number recalled another place and another time.
"Do you remember when we first heard Sometimes I'm Happy?" asked Phyllis, the youngest of the trio. "Of course," replied Christine. "It was when we were in high school in Middletown." "That's right," chimed in Dorothy. "But how about Blue Skies?" "Oh, that was further back," said Phyllis. "We heard that when we were kids at McKinley Junior High."
