Sangam - You Make Me (2019)

After having quite the prolific 2018, with 16 full-length album releases and a number of mixes & features for the diverse online radio station NTS (nts.live), we're pleased to bring in the new year and welcome back the Manchester-based producer Sangam for 'You Make Me', Sangam's third full length album to date on Kudatah & 35th overall.

“You Make Me” unravels a complex new journey for Sangam, taking each listener into the most honest and devastating depiction of Sangam's deep hazy and soft sonic melancholia yet. The guest-collaboration from Tokyo-born musician Yoshimi Hishida on the finale track 'Anon Solitude', only drives the album's holistic concept of isolation even further. Sangam's extensive use of foley, ASMR and familiar public environments sculpted together with the refined layers of rich and lush other-world atmospheres make for an tonal environment that's familiar but futuristic and near impossible to not get pulled into.
