Album was recorded by three jazz masters – it’s Sam Weinberg (tenor saxophone), Teté Leguía (bass prepared) and Weasel Walter (drums). These three musicians have original playing style and unique sound. The basics of their music is avant-garde and experimental jazz. Free, vibrant, shrieky and energetic improvisations are filled with special effects, weird sounds, strange timbres and has a colorful musical language. Musicians are experimenting in various fields of musical language – they are searching out for extended and innovative playing techniques, extracting strange timbres and making inventive and extravagant stylistic combinations. Avant garde jazz elements are gently combined together with modern jazz styles – it’s especially brightly heard in rhythmic section. The rhythms of bebop, post bop and neo bop are used here – dynamic, rapid and variable rhythmic is mixed together with free, touching and moving solos. Musicians had been improvising together many times before this one – their collective improvisations are especially expressive, emotional, passionate, has frantic, sharp and innovative sound.

“Weinberg​/​Leguía​/​Walter” compositions are based on free improvisations. Just like in other albums, musicians demonstrate their talent, inventive playing style and unique sound. The highest attention is paid to the search of unusual sounds and musical experiments. Musical experiments are made in various sections of musical language – musicians modify and construct new forms, try out new ways of playing, create extended and innovative ways of playing, fuse together contrasting rhythms, melodic elements, styles and chords. That makes an effort to innovative, colorful, bright and vibrant sound. The music is totally based on avant-garde jazz which has some mild relations with modern jazz styles. It hears only in rhythmic and harmonic section – sharp, dynamic, expressive and touching rhythmic is used here. The elements of modern jazz styles are blended together with free, frantic, harsh and turbulent free improvisations. Each musician musician is improvising individualy – independent musical patterns, forms, huge variety of sounds and timbres gently joins together in one place. Sam Weinberg tenor saxophone improvisations are extremely harsh, franky, shrieky and turbulent. Musician has especially expressive and passionate playing manner – his improvising style is based on free and spontaneous solos, fascinating and innovative musical experiments and marvelous blow outs. The improvisations usually have very energetic and rapid sound, are very expressive, touching, vivid and moving. That also is masterfully revealed in this album – turbulent and shrieky blow outs, strange and colorful noises, expressive melodies, spontaneous solos, dynamic and constantly changing rhythmic, special effects, own and experimental ways of playing and many other elements are fused together in one place. Improvisations have colorful and innovative instrumentation, gorgeous and rich background, solid melodic line, glamorous and virtuosic passages and very difficult musical pattern, which is based on contrasts. Teté Leguía prepared bass melodies also are especially effective and expressive. His improvising style is based on contrasts, expressive and innovative playing. Inventive musical decisions, unusual timbres, rapid and dynamci rhythms, virtuosic passages, arpeggios, colorful glissando, subtle pizzicato are joint together with experimental ways of playing, special effects and unusual timbres. These episodes are highly contrasting with repetitive and monotonic rhythms, deep and slow tunes, which form strong and firm bass line. Bass improvisations has remarkable and interesting sound. Weasel Walter drums section – especially bright, energetic, vibrant and turbulent. Eclectic and modern instrument combinations, all types of different rhythms, expressions, tunes, timbres and sounds are used here. That helps Weasel Walter to create expressive, marvelous and turbulent sound. He joins together rapid, sharp and furiously fast solos, passages, colorful arpeggios and glissando with huge range of his own ways of playing. That’s how colroful, touching and vivid sound is created. Drums section is independent and free – it has expressive, moving, vivacious and marvelous sound. The music of this album has interesting and original sound, which is created by three creative and inventive musicians.
