Titane - Ana (2018)

The singer Titane offers on the digital platforms, from Friday (21), the album "Ana", fifth solo album of the artist. The "Titane Doce Guerreiro Music" campaign provides for the periodic release of the singer's entire discography - "Titane and the Field of Verts" and "Sá Rainha" have already been made available, as well as "Titane Canta Elomar" (2018) launched in April.

With the album "Ana", the artist's name (Ana Iris), the artist gave focus to a new scene of authors and instrumentalists from Minas and Belo Horizonte at the time, as composers Makely Ka, Érika Machado, Renato Villaça, Cecilia Silveira, Dudu Nicácio and Kristoff Silva, and the arranger Rafael Martini.

According to Titane, the fact that it was his only studio-born album, while everyone else appeared on stage to later get studio records, allowed for a new sound processing not only for the instruments but also for the voice.

"Vocal projection has always been associated with scenic projection. When I think of the disc from the studio (and not the stage) and the sound manipulation I have adopted a softer, less projected voice, with more air and less harmonics just to favor processing, "he explains. From that, Titane presented a more serene and organic look, "with detachment, retreat to hear and see better," in the words of the singer.

The technologies that arose at that moment, of manipulation and sharing of sounds, were not only considered in the production of the album, but inspired its sonority and formatting. Also as a result, the desire to make their hearing available immediately and free of charge through the new possibilities presented by the download and the proposal made to the public to manipulate and "remix" the songs through tools and sounds made available on the site.

"In addition to the freshness of an entirely new repertoire and the experiences of sound manipulation in arrangements and musical production, Titane begins to explore vocal regions hitherto little known from its interpretive line," synthesizes Villaça.

Keeping the mark of Titane's artistic career, the album "Ana" presents a refined musical experimentation, with elaborate arrangements with a contemporary finish. Launched in 2008, the production is the result of Titane's meeting with the provocative new generation of composers from the Reconstruction project in Belo Horizonte.

"Titane, a reference interpreter of this generation, was a great enthusiast and supporter", with "his curiosity and interest in new poetic and musical discourses", says Renato Villaça, who signed the musical production of the disc alongside Rafael Martini as arranger check in full at the end). "Ana" presented to the public a repertoire entirely selected among these new talents. The work opens with the song "Clarear" and ends with "Darken", both of Villaça. In this sense, the album was dedicated "to all those who, alone or collectively, live in music the enjoyment of the world and the perennial resumption of life," he explains.
