Both musical prodigies at early ages, ILOUS & DECUYPER began their respective careers as solo acts. Brought together under the fledgling Flamophone label, the two produced only this one full-length studio album as a group.
The music is quite pastoral, primarily acoustic but with some wailing electric guitar as well, which is played on several tracks by both artists. Jean-Jacques Justafre, who would later perform with Alan Stivell, adds a light orchestral touch with French horn to augment Ilous' various pipe and piano arrangements. The band's vocals harmonies have been compared to CROSBY, STILLS and NASH, in particular on the BEATLES cover 'Eleanor Rigby'.
