TrombQuartet - Take Four (2018)

TrombQuartet is a trombone quartet created by graduates of the Academy of Music. I. J. Paderewski in Poznań and Hochschule Für Musik Hanns Eisler in Berlin. Musicians cooperate with prestigious music institutions on a daily basis, including with Orchester Akademie Der Berliner Philharmoniker, Poznań Philharmonic T. Szeligowski, Grand Theater of them. S. Moniuszki, as well as the Academy of Music. I. J. Paderewski in Poznań.

It is worth noting that the TrombQuartet quartet, existing since 2012, is an original one of the few such bands in Poland. The quartet regularly performs and develops its performance workshop, perfecting the unique sound of the trombone quartet and widening the repertoire.

The artists present during the concerts not only works from the classical music of all ages. They are also able to interest listeners with original studies of jazz standards, hits of film music and even pop songs. They are happy to reach for modern pieces, not limited to one trend or musical style. The musicians of the TrombQuartet group have in their repertoire works of contemporary composers from the USA, England, Italy and Poland, who created them with the thought of talented artists together with a dedication. Trombonists permanently collaborate with the outstanding young composer, Ewa Fabiańska-Jelińska, who creates new songs and arrangements for them.

The group regularly performs at prestigious national and international festivals, including: the International Festival of Organ and Chamber Music in Kamień Pomorski, the International Organ Festival in Koszalin, the Poznań International Music Festival and the International Organ Festival in Szczecin.
