Sebastián Tozzola & Anaïs Crestin - Bajo Templado (2018)

He began his clarinet studies at the age of nine with Roxana Mombelli at the Athos Palma Choir and Orchestra School. He continued his training with maestro Eduardo Prado and later in the
Chair of Professor Guillermo Sánchez, at the music conservatory Manuel de Falla, obtaining the clarinet technique. It was perfected with the teachers Mariano Rey and Carlos Céspedes.

He specialized in bass clarinet taking classes with Davide Lattuada (Royal Concertgebow Orchestra of Amsterdam) Vincent Penot (Orchestra of the Opera of Paris) and Renate Rusche (Elb Philarmonie of Hamburg) and integrates the Philharmonic Orchestra of the Teatro Colón of Buenos Aires as bass clarinetist since 2013
He integrates the contemporary Tango septet of the double bassist Juan Pablo Navarro and performs a wide-ranging work within Argentine popular music, as an instrumentalist and composer.

He created the Barífono duo that he integrates with the French pianist Anais Crestin, dedicated to the original music for bass clarinet and piano, having recorded his first album "Bajo Templado".

As a composer, he writes music for different genres and formations, prioritizing the bass clarinet. Some of his works are edited and marketed by the US publisher Alea Publishing and Recording.

In the teaching area, he joined the orchestra of the chair of orchestral direction of the UNA and was a professor in the orchestra of students of the Conservatory of the City of Buenos Aires. He is currently in charge of the bass clarinet workshop at the Higher Institute of Art of the Teatro Colón (ISA). In turn, he gives bass clarinet lessons in a particular way.

He trained as an orchestra musician in the Libertador San Martín Youth Symphony directed by maestro Mario Benzecry, from 2006 to 2011.

He integrated the following orchestras: City of Buenos Aires Symphony Orchestra; CAF Orchestra (Andean Development Corporation) of Venezuela, directed by maestro Gustavo Dudamel; Orquesta Académica de Buenos Aires directed by maestro Carlos Calleja (2010 - 2013); Symphony Orchestra of the UNCuyo de Mendoza (2012); National Juvenile Orchestra of the Bicentennial directed by the teacher Alejo Pérez; Juventus Lyrica; Stable Orchestra of the Teatro Colón; National Orchestra of Argentine Music «Juan de Dios Filiberto»; Stable Orchestra of the Argentine Theater of La Plata, among others.

He attended courses, international meetings and master classes: FEMUSC (Music Festival of Santa Catarina - Brazil), January 2011, 2014 and 2015; First Encounter of Clarinetes of Tucumán (2011); 2nd International Congress of Clarinetists of Buenos Aires (2012). He participated as an active student in masterclass with masters Milan Rericha (Czech Republic), Cristiano Alves (Brazil), Ovanir Buosi (Brazil), Luis Rossi (Arg), Donald Montanaro (USA), Valdemar Rodríguez (Venezuela), Jonathan Cohler ( USA).

Sebastián is a Buffet Crampon artist and plays bass clarinet Tosca, clarinets Sib and La R13, and horn of basseto Prestige.
