Father Funk & Bear Twists - Disco Biscuits EP (2018)

Long time collaborators Father Funk & Bear Twists team up for their first EP release as a duo, 4 tasty cuts of medical grade funky bass music, seamlessly blending the sounds of funk, disco and hip hop with the more modern sounds of glitch hop, garage and drum & bass. These are tracks for the dance floor as well as the home listener - just as bass driven as they are driven by their musicality and soul. The “Disco Biscuits” EP has the energy and charm of the pairs notorious bootlegs (played by DJs all over the world) but this time more instrumental, with fresh production, live instrumentation and a more varied sound palette. It’s an exciting change for these two Bristol based producers.
