"The Ballroomshakers" with their hot swing and R&B of the 40s and 50s for seventeen years make enthusiasm.
Now the band is catching up again and pulling another trump up the sleeve: with the US-American singer Donniele Graves, the black music of the post-war era is brought to the stage even fresher, younger but just as authentic as before.
Donniele Graves of North Carolina, with voice, power and wit as a worthy representative of the early R`n B, embodies the authentic sound and true glamor of the 50s. And with saxophonist Angelika Traurig, there is another woman on board who is whipping up on the men's trio Kusche, Schmidt and Hirschmann. The three gentlemen of the rhythm section shine not only as a foundation for the virtuoso ladies, they also convince as singers and soloists. That this wild quintet on stage is a very hot number, has meanwhile gotten around.
