Grobschnitt is a German rock band that existed between 1970 and 1989. Since 2006 she has been active in a new formation.
In 1970 several school bands merged into rough sections in Hagen. The name of the chapel was Elias Grobschnitt, who had formed in the First World War from soldiers with homemade musical instruments.
Many musicians and roadies gave themselves artist names; so named the founding members Eroc (drums), Felix (also drums), Lupo (solo guitar), wild boar (rhythm guitar, vocals, saxophone), Baer (bass), mercury (keyboard), Toni Moff Mollo (lighting system, later also singing).
