Bruno Sanfilippo relaunch and revives his acclaimed album InTRO (2006) as a special remastered & expanded edition on CD and Digital. Available worldwide via ad21 as of September 20th.
The album (65:28) contains its seven original soundscapes plus two unreleased; InTROpolar (7:10) and InTROsense (6:11), taken from recording sessions in May 2006.
These nine records were recently analog remastered from the original master by Ian Hawgood. The cover art was redesigned using the original photography of Helyn Davenport.
‘In his nine compositions of imaginary 'InTROspective' Sanfilippo explores the interest in the unfettered possibilities of dreams. Its impact is strongly imaginative and cinematic, featuring deep piano interludes, great synthesizer pads, field recordings, soft soaring sound textures and transparent soundscapes’
"InTRO is excellent, a little deeper than your previous albums and with a lot of details" Paul Rijkens [iO Pages Mag]
"Pure introspective beauty and a real treat for ears and soul" Bert Strolenberg [E-dition Mag]
"InTRO is one of the finest ambient releases we've heard this year" [Synthtopia.com]
"Every track on this CD is superb" Jourdan Laik [Lounging Sound Radio]
"A superb dose of ambience whose power is understated but vibrant, evoking a series of entries into the inner mind" Matt Howarth [Sonic Curiosity]
"Harmonious album that draws the listener into restful reverie - on into emotional swells and wonderfully indulgent quiet melancholy" Morpheus Music UK
"I have to admit an special admiration for this composer. There are composers that create their own music, but besides this Bruno Sanfilippo introduces us in it with this cd full of dreams and hopes, a job to taste little by little, slowly while we submerge in all the ideas that brings note by note, track by track" Roberto Vales [Lost Frontier Radio]
"Bruno Sanfilippo make a visionary statement of such extraordinary beauty and diversity that it seems to have been conceived by a collective of gifted artists. Marius-Christian Burcea" Journeys to the Infinite Radio
"A sensual and memorable piece of work" Mike G. [Ambient Music Guide]
"Each of the 9 tracks on the release carry a completely different resonance yet have in common an almost primal progression of fluidity that will entrench you in the spaces around the sound which resound more than the deftly weaved electronic notes themselves.
InTRO explores the Italo Argentino-based composer’s cinematic style through an eclectic array of digital arrangements to provide a textured yet transparent sound which comes together soulfully and delicately. Whilst there is a diverse array of soundscapes included in the album, each of them fit together perfectly to provide over an hour of transiently orchestrated lucidity.

"A delicate blend of sounds and feelings combining to create a full environment and space. Lovely work. I've often thought that the mettle of an artist is proven in their ability to work equally comfortably in a variety of styles. With "InTRO", Bruno Sanfilippo has shown that he's capable of working in a number of different forms, moving easily between styles and sounds, showing an ear and an ability in all of the areas he presents here. Certainly Sanfilippo's reputation as an artist to watch is well deserved, and I would cite "InTRO" as a fine piece of evidence to support that claim" Pingthings
