The name Lucille has left its traces in AfroAmerican music:
B.B king gave his guitar the same name and lill' Richard wrote a Rock n' Roll anthem with the same title.
Adopting this title, Lucille's 9 piece crew has dedicated their work to Soul, Blues and Funk music, Surrounding the blend with strong Hip hop Elements. All, with one goal in mind:
Move bodies n' souls around da' globe.Lucille Crew is an international 9 piece collective, fusing element of Hip Hop, Funk and Soul.
The band is fronted by Baltimore native, MC Rebel Sun and Argentinian producer\guitarist Izzy (Isgav Dotan) and is known for its never-ending stream of collaborations with a revolving door of talented vocalists.
Lucille's music is a blend of different genres that goes from NYC's old school Hip Hop, Through the Smoky jazz clubs of New Orleans and sometimes even reaches as far as the Well-too-drunk parties of the Balkan's Gypsies and their mad horns. all pasted together by strong musicianship and one goal - Move bodies and souls around the globe.
Since started, the crew is on a non-stop live tour, including among others: 2 European tours in which they performed at a sold-out show in Germany's Reeperbahn Festival, two amazing shows in Liverpool sound City and many more...
In the wait for the European release of their new album, the band has already started working on the next one and planning their next European tour in February 2015.
