VA - Second Wave (2018)

PH17, the Leipzig-based label run by the two DJs SOLARIS and Stanley Schmidt is releasing it's next compilation. After the first edition which mainly featured artists from Leipzig, the second edition called "Second Wave" features a bunch of international artists. S.Olbricht and Abris Gryllus, both based in Budapest, open the compilation with a mesmerizing ambient-piece, followed by Stanley Schmidt and the now Berlin-based artist M.E.S.H. who contributed a piece which was planned to be part of his latest album "Hesaitix" on PAN now fits perfectly on this compilation. On the B-Side the australian Artist Privacy, well known for his releases on Lobster Theremin and Klasse Wrecks, slams a dark and wavy track, followed by New York's Relaxer, former known as Ital, who brings some heavy breakbeat rhythms. The last track by the newcomer DJ Mantis from Berlin sums up the compilation and gives it a hyper-europhic twist with a original trance-track.
