We are finally here! In the studio, making our album “The Adventures Of ISSIMO”. We couldn’t have got this far without our fans, friends and family who have supported the making of our first two EP’s “The Coldest Queen” and “Walking On The Sky”, starring and crowdfunding our music videos and not to mention always ensuring we have a full house at all of our full band live shows. Thank you to all of you.
We have got to this album after a year of travelling, live shows, live streams, one devastating loss (Rest In Peace Buster) and heaps of love and fun times, and we can not wait to share it with you. With just an acoustic guitar on our backs and our supplies, we have climbed the side of a volcano, sailed to desert islands, seen and listened to people and music all around the world. We experienced flavours of Cuba, Tahiti, Greece, Spain and we are pretty sure that when the album is done it will be obvious that we are massively inspired by Bob Marley, Toots and The Maytals, “The Cat Empire”. We have just got back from musical adventures in Indonesia where we visited Papua New Guinea, Komodo, Lombok, Samurai Island and Fiji. We met some amazing people and saw a whole new world, twitnessing the ways people in third world countries live and how simple things, like music and dance can make people happy, or let them express themselves. We experienced a wealth of different music sounds, instrumentation and dance that play a huge role in individual islands unique cultures. We have still got more adventures to come as we will be packing our guitars and setting off for a live tour around French Polynesia and USA in Jan 2017, and we will be sure to upload pictures and videos of our travels as we go!
