Edwin Madu, who performs under the alias Dwin, The Stoic, is a Nigerian singer-songwriter, music producer, poet, screenwriter and short story writer. He is one-third of the Nigerian indie band Ignis Brothers started in June 2017. He has often labelled himself as being “sans-genre” coined to reflect his inability to classify his music under one genre. He attributes this to his many diverse influences. His first recorded song The Lonely was released in 2014. Followed by Stay The Night in 2016 and then Wait for You in the same year. He is currently working on his debut LP titled Heavy Heart.
