Binker and Moses return with 'Alive In The East?' following last year's mega-success 'Journey To The Mountain Of Forever' (which garnered much praise, including a cherished 'Urban Album Of The Year' from the urbane music publication Mojo Magazine). Binker Golding and Moses Boyd are at the forefront of a London-based jazz explosion, and this is their third LP in as many years. The collective of musicians on the record includes free-jazz innovator Evan Parker, and half of Yussef Kamaal. Careful composition meets blasts of spontaneity and improvisational freedom.
