nineteentwelve was born in 2007 as a creative outlet for a quintet of similar minded musicians. The brief was simple, to create and enjoy music. The debut album ‘waiting for no one’ is a compositional milestone. It gives a clear indication of the journey the band has been on whilst giving a definite nod in the direction to which the band is headed. The priority the band gives to the melodic nature of the songs’ arrangements is clear to hear, and with each listen the songs’ layers unravel and expose the level of intricacy afforded to the process of arrangement.
