SATISFIED DRIVE is a rock and roll band based out out of Livingston, Texas. Formed in 2007 by Don May, Brandon Fowler, and Mark Vaughn, We set out to create music that would inspire us and others, drawing from a wide range of artists who have inspired us. Satisfied Drive is Modern Rock with a Classic Drive!

As the band has evolved, so has our sound, to evoke the mood of soulful blues bands to a hard drivin' rock and roll band, to alternative and acoustic. Satisfied Drive has released three studio albums as well as a live concert CD. Our set list pulls from our albums as well as some favorites from some of our favorite artists and is constantly evolving to keep things new for both the fans and the band!

Heart of Stone is the 4th Studio Album from Satisfied Drive. This album is the culmination of 10 years or writing songs, playing a hundred shows a year, touring, and all the life experience that comes from all of that. This is our best yet! The opening track, “Heart of Stone”, sets the tone for the rest of the record. A powerful modern-rock intro, soaring vocal melodies, and big “classic” guitar solo hit hard from the start and give you a good taste of whats to come. Track two, “Shine On”, is a rock anthem with a positive message for a world that, at times, seems to be consumed with negativity. It kicks off with a really classic vibe from the opening guitar intro, and then a verse with lyrics that one of our reviewers described as “accessible and positive without being corny” and a powerful chorus featuring some guest vocals helping us push this one over the top! Track three, “Now is the Time”, brings back the “drive” with a heavy rock groove that hits you hard from the start and never lets up! These three set the tone for the rest of the album, with memorable ballads like “Back When We Were Friends” and “New Way To Be”, straight-up rock riffs like “Big Bad Dream” and “The Road Less Travelled”, lyrical songs that really speak to the state of humanity like “The Great Divide” (featuring a duet with Sabrina Toole) and even some classic old-school blues in “I Killed A Man” (featuring Brando’s 1945 Silvertone Lap Steel and a guest on Harmonica). Heart of Stone is a rock album everyone needs in their music collection!
